Apple Cider Vinegar Is A Natural Remedy for Fat!
A doctor I recently consulted with failed to mention I had borderline high triglycerides! I know this because I requested a copy of my blood work. Not only did he miss this detail, he also didn’t test for what I had requested!!! But that is a whole other story! I googled triglyceride levels and was stunned when I found out that meant I had a lot of fat cells in my blood. Me! I eat whole foods and use agave sweetener when I bake….I have high triglycerides!!!! My TSH is also high -so maybe they are related. I knew I was overweight, but not because of the food I eat. I eat so healthy, but haven’t been able to lose weight until recently.
Immediately, I set out to find a natural remedy that would cure me of my woes. I had thought I read of an old Vermont physician that wrote a book on folk medicine. Apple cider vinegar has long been known to clean and balance your blood. 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in some water before each meal will help balance your digestive track. If done constistently, the ACV will help your body burn fat instead of store it. The ACV alkalizes your body and lowers your cholesterol and triglyceride levels . Of course you need to eat the right foods. I like to keep a low calorie foods list handy so I know what to eat.
Apple Cider Vinegar is made from apples and has all the same healthful benefits as apples do. The only change being the sugars from the apple are are turned into vinegar (acid). It is shock full of potassium and minerals that help “…keep the doctor away.” Other foods you can eat to provide potassium include fruit, honey, berries, edible leaves and roots, but to really benefit, it is advised to supplement with apple cider vinegar.
When buying apple cider vinegar, be sure you buy the one with the “mother”. Other uses of apple cider vinegar include:
